an epigraph?

A saying or a part of a poem, play, or book put at the beginning of a piece of writing or a film, to give the reader some idea of what the piece is about.
The word epigraph is derived from the Greek “epigraphein”, which means “to write on,” and it was meant to describe a brief inscription on a building or statue.

We elevate it with visuals that match current needs and a storytelling that makes individuals part of a story they can feel they experienced.
The epigraph below each picture is part of a story proper to each location.
